On September 9, 2025, amid flying welding sparks at the Lanxi East Station construction site, China Railway No.3 Engineering Bureau successfully completed its first turnout flash-butt welding operation using the independently developed UN5-150ZB6 Mobile Turnout flash-butt Welding Machine by Aigre. This milestone marks that China Railway No.3 Engineering Bureau has entered a new stage of efficient and high-quality welding in the field of turnout welding.

As a core intercity corridor connecting Jinhua City and Jiande City, the welding quality of turnouts on the Jinhua-Jiande Intercity Railway is crucial to the track smoothness and long-term operational safety. Compared with the traditional aluminothermic welding technology—whose welded joint strength only reaches 50% of the base metal—the Turnout flash-butt Welding Machine introduced by China Railway No.3 Engineering Bureau from Aigre achieves a rail joint strength of over 90% of the base metal, greatly improving the stability of joint quality.

Currently, Aigre's equipment has been widely applied in key national projects such as the Chongqing-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway and the Xi'an-Yan'an Railway. The successful application of this technology in the Jinhua-Jiande Intercity Railway not only provides reliable technical support for the subsequent construction of the project but also injects new impetus into the high-quality development of China's railway industry.
